Swedish Dialogue, the official forum of The Swedish Knowledge & Research Centre (SKRC), is committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and rigorous environment for all participants. This Engagement Policy outlines expectations for behavior and platform use, and reflects compliance with GDPR, anti-discrimination, intellectual property, and accessibility standards.

Guiding Principles

By participating in Swedish Dialogue, you agree to uphold:

  • Respect & Civility – Treat all participants with dignity, regardless of background, belief, or status.
  • Constructive Dialogue – Base contributions on logic, evidence, and integrity. Avoid ad hominems.
  • Inclusivity & Non-discrimination – No harassment or derogatory remarks against protected groups under Swedish and EU law.
  • Intellectual Honesty – Cite sources accurately; share verified information.

Acceptable Use & Content Guidelines

  • No Unlawful Behavior: Comply with all applicable laws; no incitement, hate speech, or defamation.
  • No Spam/Commercial Use: Unauthorized advertising, political campaigning, or mass messaging is prohibited.
  • No Malware or Data Harvesting: Do not upload code or engage in unauthorized data collection.
  • Original Work Only: Respect IP rights. Only post content you own or explicitly have permission to share.
  • Privacy & Consent: Sharing someone’s personal data without consent is strictly forbidden and breaches GDPR.

Moderation, Enforcement & Reporting

To maintain a safe environment:

  • Monitoring & Removal: SKRC moderates in good faith, with the right to remove content or ban users violating policy.
  • Warnings & Escalation: Repeated or severe breaches may lead to warnings or account suspension.
  • Legal Escalation: Illegal content will be reported to authorities as required by law.
  • Report Abuse: Use the platform’s reporting tool or email us at info@swedish-research.com with evidence or links.

Accessibility Standards

We comply with the EU’s Web Accessibility Directive and EN 301 549 standards, aiming for WCAG 2.1 AA compliance:

  • Inclusive Design: We strive for high contrast, readable fonts, and keyboard navigation.
