Applied Artificial Intelligence: From Real Problems to Real Systems (A Tabula Rasa Approach)
January 25 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
18:00 CET (Sweden)
20:00 AST (Iraq)

The Swedish Knowledge & Research Centre (SKRC) is proud to present a Distinguished Lecture featuring the acclaimed AI inventor, Inv. Yildirim Salahaldin Hussein. In this session, Yildirim will explore his unique “Tabula Rasa” philosophy—a “from-scratch” approach to building intelligent systems that bypasses the biases of pre-existing frameworks. The lecture will provide an exclusive look into the architecture of YILDO-LLM-100M, the first Iraqi Large Language Model, and demonstrate how AI can be leveraged for high-impact social and environmental solutions, such as the Eco Predict platform. This event serves as a vital knowledge bridge, connecting Nordic R&D standards with Middle Eastern innovation.
Key Highlights
- The Tabula Rasa Methodology: Understanding the importance of building foundational models with independent weights and custom tokenization.
- YILDO-LLM-100M Deep Dive: A technical walkthrough of the 100 million parameter, 10-layer, 10-head architecture.
- AI for the Planet: How the Eco Predict system utilizes global data to monitor air quality and desertification risks in Iraq.
- Digital Sovereignty: A discussion on the future of independent AI development and its role in global R&D.
- Precision Oncology: Brief insights into AI-assisted structural biology research regarding TP53 mutations.
- Global Recognition: Insights from an IBM Champion 2025 and IFIA Certified Inventor.
